How Are Pay Outs
Determined?
- Payouts are determined by the number
of dogs in each height class.
- In a 1-D, 2-D and 3-D divisional
format, the total jackpot is to be divided based on the percentage of
dogs in each class.
Example:
If the total number of dogs entered in a trial is 450, of this amount, 117
or 26% are 20-inch dogs, then the percentage of payout for 20-inch dogs is
equal to the percentage of dogs entered in this height class which in this
case is 26%. The remaining percentages are distributed amongst the other
height classes based on percentage of dogs in each height class.

The percentage of dogs will equal the percentage of payout from the
total jackpot announced for each trial.

The minimum payout will be listed for all challenges which go into the
jackpot. Payouts may be more or less depending on any added money which
is exclusive on number of entries and sponsors (For example, minimum
payout of $3000.00 + added money = total jackpot).

Added money on top of any announced payout will be divided in the same
ratio for each class.

The following list indicates the total percentage of payout for a
2-D/3-D format for each class. Each of the 5 classes will receive the
percentage of payout equal to the percentage of dogs for each class
(Please refer to example chart 1).

Each class will then be subdivided for each division for example: 12-
inch class has 21% of total payout. This 21% will be divided 50% for the
1st division, 30% for the 2nd and 20% for 3rd division (Please refer to
example chart 1).

Each division will then be divided into placements. 1st, 2nd and 3rd
place winners which will receive 50%, 30%, and 20% respectively of the
percentage allocated for each division (Please refer to example chart
1).
